A Grand Rapids native and cradle Catholic, Mrs. Bayes studied at Aquinas College and earned a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Education. She has been at IHM since the 2022-2023 school year and is an active member of the Basilica. Mrs. Bayes and her husband sent their children to SJV and Catholic Central.

Mrs. Bayes plays the cello, owns two dogs, reads lots of books, prefers Marge’s Donuts, and enjoys travel.
