A Grand Rapids native and cradle Catholic, Mrs. Bayes studied at Aquinas College and earned a Bachelor of Music Education and a Master of Education. She has been at IHM parish and school since 2022. Her classroom has lots of songs, storybooks, Scripture, and science experiments.

Mrs. Bayes plays the cello and chess, owns two dogs, reads lots of books, prefers Marge’s Donuts, and enjoys travel. Mrs. Bayes and her husband sent their children to SJV and Catholic Central.
