Mrs. Jennifer Ansell is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and earned her Early Childhood Endorsement. In addition, she earned her Master’s in Special Education, specializing in Learning Disabilities from Grand Valley University. She has taught in elementary education for almost 30 years. The majority of her years teaching in Early Childhood Education including 3- year-old, and 4-year-old preschool, and prekindergarten programs.

Mrs. Ansell has been married to her high school sweetheart for 27 years. They have raised a 21-year son, James, who has just left for Army boot camp, and a 17-year daughter, Josie, who is a senior at East Kentwood. As a family, they enjoy watching movies while cuddling with their 3 cats and taking their dog on walks around their neighborhood. Mrs. Ansell asked Jesus in her heart at age 7 and feels blessed to be a servant of our Lord through the gift He gave her of teaching young children.
