Mrs. Jennifer Ansell is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and earned her Early Childhood Endorsement. In addition, she earned her Master’s in Special Education, specializing in Learning Disabilities from Grand Valley University. She has taught in elementary education for almost 30 years. The majority of her years teaching in Early Childhood Education including 3- year-old, and 4-year-old preschool, and prekindergarten programs.

Mrs. Ansell has been married to her high school sweetheart for 28 years. They have raised their 22-year son, James, an Army Private First Class stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska and their 18-year daughter, Josie, an East Kentwood 2024 grad who is currently taking a gap year by working in the area. As a family, they enjoy watching movies while cuddling with their 3 cats and taking their dog on walks around their neighborhood. Mrs. Ansell asked Jesus in her heart at age 7 and feels blessed to be a servant of our Lord through the gift He gave her of teaching young children.
