Email MeMy name is Monica Reeder. As the granddaughter of some of the very first parishioners of IHM, my roots here at IHM were cemented since before my existence. My parents, Pat and Ellen Hillary, baptized my brother Dan and me here at IHM and our entire family has never left! I have since welcomed two beautiful kids of my own. My daughter Emerson and son Declan currently attend IHM School and are loving every minute of it.
I believe that the skills and discipline instilled in me from the years I attended IHM School, inspired me to join the IHM School Board. Keeping the tradition of excellence that IHM has consistently maintained over the decades has never been more at the forefront of my priorities now that I am a mother myself.
Prior to staying at home when my kids were young, I used my Marketing Degree from Michigan State University to find professional success working as a Market Solutions Analyst at the Corporate Offices for Kohls Department Stores in Wisconsin. I also honed my analytical skills for Gordon Food Service here in Grand Rapids until the birth of my daughter Emmy in 2016. I returned to the workforce in 2025 and now have the privilege of working at Treadstone Mortgage as a Loan Processor. Being able to represent a company that is so charitable and well known in the community is such a joy. I hope to combine my professional training and knowledge gained from parenthood, to impart worthwhile feedback to the IHM School Board and help ensure a thriving school for years to come.
