Hi! I’m Marleigh Plachecki and I’ve been on IHM’s School Board since the fall of 2023. My husband Dan and I are long-standing parishioners of IHM (we were married here in 2001). We have three children – Brady, Bryce, and Avery — who all attended IHM from Preschool 3’s through 8th grade. Throughout our many years at IHM, Dan and I have maintained varied and active involvement in both IHM School and Church. This community has blessed us in so many ways!

My service on the School Board was born from a church bulletin posting, where the Board was seeking someone with a background in Human Resources. As an HR professional with many years of diverse business experience, I felt called to give back to IHM in this new way. I am passionate about Catholic education, and excited to contribute to “Disciples First, Then Diplomas” at IHM.

In addition to my role as Chair of the Committee on New Directors, I am honored to be taking on the additional responsibilities of School Board President and Killgoar Foundation Liaison for the coming year.
